Hello. I’m Jean Grae. (she/her/bad motherfucker)
I’m a multi-hyphenate artist of all sorts, and I’ve lived a lot of lives. You might know me from my long career as a rapper. A producer? Composer. Comedian. Voiceover work? Did you come to my non-religious church? Maybe I cooked your favorite meal, or did your hair once. Did you buy something from my vintage store - did I help you find your real bra size? We could go on forever, but I want to focus on where we are now.
I’m a queer, gender-transcendent, 48 year old who just wrote her first book! It’ll be out on March 18th, 2025 — if we all make it to that date— it’s great! It’s fine!
STACKED PASSIONS?
This Substack began as me being happy to write some things, but I realized I wanted to write about all the things that make me happy. The things that make me —me. So, Stacked Passions had to be—STACKED. With—my PASSIONS. Which is good, because it was right there in the name that I had previously and very intentionally chosen. Look at me, being proactive - not fully.
I’m very serious about being super intentional with the living of the life. Whee.

The Kitchen - Food, drinks, kitchen and kitchen adjacent items.
The Nose - Fragrances and scents of all sorts. Reviews, recommends, etc.
The Space - Interior and exterior design. Mind Palaces.
The Old Ones - All the old Substack posts before the 12/5/24 changeover.
